New Essay in Montecristo Magazine
Hi,
I know, it’s been a while. I hope you’re well and happy and living just the way you want to. It’s been a year now since my book, Holden After & Before – Love Letter For a Son Lost to Overdose came out and whew, what a year it’s been. Thank you for reading, texting, calling, talking, walking, Wordling, sipping, crying, swimming etc… with me.
I’m delighted to have my eyes elsewhere now. Recently I wrote about Bree Stotts for Montecristo Magazine. Bree not only flies the BC Air Ambulance saving countless lives along the BC Coast, but she also makes beer on Hornby Island with her husband Ashley. Some might say that is also a life-saving mission.
Here is a link to the essay. Beautiful photos by Jennifer Armstrong Photography.
Thanks for reading.

I really enjoyed your article Tara. A fascinating read! Hornby Island is very fortunate to have such a devoted, highly skilled and caring woman in their midst. Both Bree and Ashley seem to be fantastic individuals who sincerely contribute to their community and show respect to their beloved environment.
Thank-you for sharing your talents with us, Tara. You are a born writer.

I loved reading about this woman. She’s quite something, huh?
